Love this place! The staff is great and so is the food. The lunch buffet is very tasty. They refill it often with small, freshly cooked portions, so it doesn't get soggy. The owner seems to take a lot of pride in providing hot, fresh food.

Love the food. Yes, it's a small buffet with only one cook. I feel they do a great good of getting food out when it's busy. A little understanding and they resolve the situation.The ladies are super nice. The older lady helps customers by carrying their dishes to their tables. The lady at the register knows all the food. Whenever we need more food brought out, the younger lady gets it out super quick. Love the attention they pay to the customers. The people at the drive-thru window are so helpful and knowledgeable about all the options. The general manager even helps out people in need or broke college students. I don't know any other restaurant that goes out of the way to help out the customers like this one has supported the community. People who leave bad reviews are those who were having a bad day before they came in, and taking it out on the staff won't make their day any better.

We enjoy going here a few times a month, if we get lucky enough! The food is decent and the service is awesome! It's not a huge Buffett, but it's enough for my family!

For Ottawa, this was one of the most sweetest lunch spots I’ve been to. I went to the lunch buffet with my mom, and the older gentleman and lady were such sweethearts. This was our first time ever going to China Palace. Now anytime I’m able to, I’ll be dragging other relatives here.

What is up with all of the anger about the sign? Apparently people cannot read? The sign says excessive amounts of food. The word excessive is underlined and bold. I believe; anyone who has a problem with this sign and wasting food does not respect the local farmers that have grown the food. The cooks that are preparing the food. It might be hard to believe or even remember; back in the day you are not allowed to waste food. We did not have the food to waste. You could take whatever you wanted but you had to eat what you took. It's the same concept, take what you want but eat the food. So why is it completely acceptable today to be so wasteful? Especially food?

This is a wonderful little establishment. They offer good food at an reasonable price.

Went in for the lunch buffet and there were tons of options and the food was delicious. I see some reviews said there wasn't much food and it was dry or cold but this was not our experience. We also went when the buffet opened vs when it's scheduled / near time to close. Waitress was kind and attentive. Will definitely go back.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I know the outside doesn't look great but you will be pleasantly surprised! New visitors and this place is so so great! Have had the buffet twice now. Delicious food, clean tables, buffet area and bathroom. The women that I have interacted with have been pleasant and answered any questions we had. Definitely go and enjoy the food! Buffet starts W-M at 1130.
